The basic version is free. Adblock Plus is also open source. Check the provider’s current site for any optional paid features.
02Does it block every advert?+
No. Sites and advert formats change, and coverage depends on your browser, device, filter lists and settings.
03Does it work on mobile?+
Options vary by mobile browser and operating system. Adverts inside separate apps are generally outside a browser extension’s reach.
04Can a blocker break a page?+
Occasionally a useful page element can be hidden. You can pause filtering or add a site exception when that happens.
05Can I still support websites I value?+
Yes. You can allow a chosen site, and you can review the Acceptable Ads setting in the extension’s controls.
